“만군의 주님께서는 온 민족들이 이 기도로 혜택을 받을 수 있다고 말씀하십니다.”
“예수님, 저는 당신을 신뢰하오며, 당신께서 저를 사랑하심을 알고 있나이다. 저는 우리 사이를 가로막는 모든 장애물을 없애기 원하오니, 제 마음속에 용서못함이 조금이라도 있다면 그것을 가져가시어 제가 온전히 당신 것이 되게 하소서. 저에게 상처 주고, 저에 대한 거짓말과 험담을 늘어놓고, 저를 질투하고, 저의 것을 빼앗아가고, 어떤 식으로든 저를 괴롭힌 사람들을 제가 용서하도록 도와주소서. 그런 다음 지극히 거룩한 당신 성심 깊은 곳으로 저를 데려가시어, 당신의 지극히 보배로운 피로 덮어 주소서. 제가 다른 사람을 용서하지 못하여 당신 사랑을 또다시 거스르게 내버려두지 마소서. 아멘.”

“나는 자신에 대한 용서와 다른 이들에 대한 용서가 모두 자유라는 사실을 영혼들이 깨닫기 바란다. 이 자유는 내 자비에 대한 그들의 신뢰를 나타낸다. 아무리 작은 것일지라도 용서못함은 영혼을 땅에 매어두어 완덕을 향해 날아오르지 못하게 막는 마음의 사슬과도 같다. 이렇게 묶인 영혼은 내가 원하는 만큼 나를 (진실로) 알 수도, 또 우리의 하나된 성심의 심방들 안으로 더 깊이 들어오지도 못한다. 그러니 자신에 대한 용서와 다른 이들의 대한 용서는 이 거룩한 심방들을 통과해 나아가는 데 필요한 여권이라 할 수 있을 것이다.”
“그러므로, 매일 아침 일어날 때 이렇게 기도하여라:”
“사랑하올 예수님, 매 현 순간 당신의 자비를 믿고 신뢰할 수 있도록 도와주소서. 당신의 자비를 본받음으로써 제 자신과 다른 모든 이를 용서할 수 있도록 도와주소서. 아멘.”

Jesus, I trust in You. I know that You love me. I desire every obstacle between us be removed. Take from my heart any morsel of unforgiveness so that I can be completely Yours. Help me to forgive those who have hurt me, have lied about me, have gossiped about me, were jealous of me, have stolen from me or have abused me in any way. Then plunge me deep into Your Most Sacred Heart. Cover me with Your Most Precious Blood. Do not allow me to resist Your Love again through unforgiveness of another. Amen.

"I desire souls see forgiveness, both of themselves and of others, as a freedom. This freedom is a sign of their trust in My Mercy. Any morsel of unforgiveness is like a chain around the heart which tethers the soul to earth and prevents its flight to perfection. The soul, thus bound, cannot know Me as I desire and cannot be drawn deeper into the Chambers of Our United Hearts. You might say forgiveness of self and others is a passport you need to progress through these Sacred Chambers."
